This is an insurance cover that protects against accidental damage in the event of an accident to your mobile phone

Benefit:

• You will get your mobile device restored up to TZS. 500,000

Coverage:

• Accidental damage.

Payment:

• Pay actual replacement of the phone up to TZS. 500,000

Eligibility:

1. This cover is monthly and if you stop using NMB Mkononi in that specific month, the cover freezes.
2. The claim payment will depend upon the usage of NMB Mkononi monthly. For you to be eligible to claim you must have at least used NMB Mkononi services once within that month.

Claims Handling Process:

• Notification of the accident
• Reporting the claim to the nearest branch of NMB
• Call contact center 0800 002 002 (Toll Free)
• Email to [email protected]
• Submission of necessary documents to the branch
• Duly filled and signed claim form (blanks are available at the branch)
• Technical Report
• Damage phone to be submitted to the branch

Turn around time (TAT) for claim settlement: From the date of document submission, the maximum settlement time is 48 hrs.
